Defending the TRUE Godhead
Exposing Satan's Greatest Deception on God's Remnant Church

How Does a Trinitarian Break the First Commandment?
Chapter 13

Since Satan, as the hopelessly rebellious angel Lucifer, was expelled from heaven, it has been his desire and goal to be worshipped by all created beings, first in earth and eventually all the unfallen worlds throughout the universe.

By His Spirit God had Isaiah write exactly what Satan’s plan was in Isaiah 14:12-14; “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! … For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

When Satan accomplished his plan to cause Adam and Eve to sin, he became prince of planet Earth. He worked his diabolical schemes on finite man for almost six millenniums to date; but it was almost 2,000 years ago when at the cross he was defeated and Christ as the second Adam, won back what the first Adam lost.

As we read in Isaiah 14:14, Satan said “I will be like the most high.” How? The most High God receives worship and the most High God has a Sabbath, a sign between He and His true worshippers.

Satan hates God, God’s Sabbath and God’s people, which are the object of his attacks. Since he gave the Papacy in Rome their seat, power and authority, he was able to create his own Sabbath, the pagan festival of sun worship, Sunday. By his influence and the passing of time, today he has almost all of the Christian world worshipping on this spurious Sabbath. He receives worship only due to God.

When God raised up the remnant church of Adventist believers, in the mid-18th century, all the original pioneers were non-Trinitarian. God showed them the truth on the Godhead and it was an established doctrine of the young Seventh-day Adventist Church. This doctrinal belief continued while our pioneers and God’s prophet to the church were still alive. The change to Trinitarianism is now historical fact and has been revealed in earlier chapters of this E-Book.

Now we need to answer the question, How Does a Trinitarian Break the First Commandment? The non-Trinitarian position is that the Godhead consists of two Divine Beings and that their omnipresent shared Spirit is the third person of the Godhead, not a third being called god the holy spirit, according to Scripture and the Spirit of Prophecy, This is the place that Satan has ingeniously managed to occupy, god the holy spirit, by gaining the thinking and the control of finite intellects coupled with the passing of time.

A careful study will reveal that ever since Babylon, pagan trinities, the creation of Satan, have long been worshipped. Through manipulation and his evil influence, he got the Trinity to be a key doctrine of Catholicism and eventually Protestantism.

Following Ellen White’s death in 1915, and the passing of the early pioneers, and with the church experiencing continued growth with converts coming from Protestant faiths who were Trinity believers, the sentiments of a Trinity belief was having its effect on leadership. By 1931, the word trinity was inserted into the Fundamental Beliefs.

In 1981 the Omega of deadly heresy, the belief in 3 co-equal, co-eternal Gods, namely God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit officially became a doctrinal belief of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It was when Dr. John Harvey Kellogg confessed his belief in the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, that Sister White said it is the Alpha of deadly heresy. She saw that the Omega would be far worse and it caused her to tremble for our people. Why? Because the Alpha in her time had a serious effect on all who would embrace it. But in our time we are talking about multiplied millions of unsuspecting Seventh-day Adventist being taught the satanic doctrine of the Trinity.

Those who accept the Truth that the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ in Their omnipresence, is the Holy Spirit, are on safe ground. But those who believe in a third being called god the holy spirit are in fact giving worship to Satan. They have put another god before the Father. They are breaking the first commandment.

Does that mean that all Trinitarian SDA’s will be lost? Judgment belongs to God and not man. However Revelation 22:14 states, “Blessed [are] they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” We can say that willful commandment breakers will be lost. God’s word does say that in Acts 17:30 “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:”

We know that there will be many Sunday keepers in heaven that were never exposed to the truth on God’s Sabbath, but lived up to all the light they had. Some will have had pastors who knew the truth, but either never shared it or were ignorant themselves, but had time, opportunity and resources to study the matter. As long as a person has time, opportunity and the resources, they have no excuse.

Likewise with the truth about the Godhead. I would think that there will be Trinitarian Seventh-day Adventists in heaven because of the same reasons stated above about Sunday keepers, but we have reached the time where ignorance will no longer be an excuse. We are to search for truth as for hidden treasure. If we are exposed in any way to the truth about the Godhead, and either reject it out right, or study it and still reject it, we are held accountable. Why would anyone reject it who actually studies the matter? If the person studies the issue with prejudice and bias, God will not allow them to understand the truth because they are looking for errors instead of truth. We have met that type of resistance with Sunday-keepers studying about the Sabbath.

This is indeed a very serious matter and is no side issue. It has eternal consequences. Very soon God will be pouring out His Spirit on the 144,000. There will be no Trinitarians in that number, for the Trinitarian doctrine is serious deception and the 144,000 will have no guile in their mouths. In addition to breaking the first commandment, Trinitarian teachers break the 9th commandment about a false witness.

Isaiah 60:1, 2 says, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” The Trinity doctrine is gross darkness!

As we see the light of truth, God requires us to “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” “My people” being God’s people in the Sunday keeping churches of Babylon and “the house of Jacob” is the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Then as it states in Isaiah 58:12 “And [they that shall be] of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.” By preaching the three angel’s messages, we are showing God’s people in Babylon the truth about the Sabbath, which repairs the breach made in God’s Law, pertaining to the Sabbath. When we are showing God’s people in the Seventh-day Adventist Church the real truth about the Godhead, the non-Trinitarian doctrine of our pioneers, then we are the restorer of paths to dwell in.

This issue is causing a shaking in Adventism as there are now over 3 million non-Trinitarian Seventh-day Adventists, which represents 15% of the approximate 20 million member denomination. See chapter 11, “The Shaking in God's Remnant Church.”

The predominant issue in the great controversy is who will receive your worship?
